The Anesthesia Supervisor- supervises the activities of the state-ofthe art Cardiac Anesthesia Department; is responsible for directing, overseeing and facilitating the daily operation and performance of the Anesthesia Technicians,
Preceptor/Mentor for Anesthesia Technicians. Will be responsible for ensuring Clinical Excellence in clinical practice by providing patients and their families - the highest quality, greatest safety and most efficient level of anesthesia care services.
Leading Hospital in Saudi Arabia is urgently looking for Passionate and Dedicated Supervisor for their Cardiac Anesthesia Division- Anesthesia Department. Unique experience to be working in Saudi Arabia in a prestigious international standard Hospital alongside a team of internationally qualified and experienced healthcare professionals-western expatriates. Opportunity to travel, to explore new culture and tradition, while making a difference and bringing contributions through your specialized- clinical and management skills, knowledge and expertise in Anesthesia Technology.
Essential requirements:
- Western educated, trained and experienced healthcare professional;
- Bachelors Degree in Anesthesia Technology/ Associate of Science Degree in Anesthesia Technology Program/Diploma in Anesthesia Technology - or equivalent Educational Qualification in a related field- required;
- Valid Professional Practicing Certificate, Registration/License;
- Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience and expertise in Anesthesia Technology ( Bachelor Degree holders); minimum of 10 years experience ( for Diploma holders);
-From overall years of experience at least 2 years of current/recent Supervisory or Lead experience, or experience serving in progressively increasing Managerial Roles, Leadership/Supervisory Role or similar Role- or equivalent;
- Keeping abreast with the leading new trends in the rapidly changing filed of Anesthesia Technology;
-CMEs- Continued Medical Education and Training-up-to-date;
-Valid: BLS/Basic Life Support Certification, ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification; PALS- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification;
-Cer. A.T/Certified Anesthesia Technician or Cer. A.T.T/Certified Anesthesia Technologist by ASATT or similar equivalent Certification- preferred;
-Masters Degree in Anesthesia Technology or equivalent Educational Qualification from an Accredited Institution- advantage;
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, principles, policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols;
- Infection prevention and control- knowledge and skills;
-Business performance and result oriented with excellent Leadership and people Management skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
-Superb - communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and negotiating skills, planning and organizational skills;
- Ability to multitask, to work well under pressure;
-Attention to detail, Flexibility, Quick timely response, Can-do attitude, Process/Quality focus, Achievement oriented, Patient/Customer service oriented, Employee focused, Energetic, Innovative, Respect and Ability to cope to different situations are only some of the qualities that the Supervisor Anesthesia needs to possess;
- Excellent English language skills; Arabic language- advantage;
